Game Chef 2013

I’ve submitted a game, called Finding Haven, here, for Game Chef 2013.  It’s a sci-fi role-playing game inspired by stories like Logan’s Run and alien invasions like V combined.  I’m grateful for any feedback you have, please leave a comment here or on Praxis.  Thanks!

Hi Manu! I’m on the Indie+ organizing team, and we’re looking to put together a GameChef event for our June Game Night. We run monthly Game Nights during which we play games and run panels on Google+ Hangouts, so that they’re recorded and put up on Youtube afterwards. I saw that your game was one of the GameChef finalists, and after a read-through, I thought that it might be good for our event. We haven’t made the final decision yet on any given game, so I can’t say for certain if we’ll be playing Finding Haven, but I wanted to make sure with you that it would be okay to play the game, record it, and make it public before we did so. Let me know what you think! Thanks very much, Manu!

Of course, Brendan! I can think of no greater compliment than playing the game and talking about it 🙂 Let me know if there’s anything about the game I can help clarify.

      Best Wishes, Manu

One idea for a scenario I had for a Discovery approach: the PCs are on a ship bound for Jupiter, with winners of the Culling on board. They discover some stowaways who are in love and want to join the resistance. A Demosian patrol ship approaches…
